Credits:
When you post a reply or thread (or wallpapers/scans/doujinshis), you get credits. It's something like money. So, the more you post, the more you get credits. And if you want to download something i.e. wallpapers/scans/doujinshis, the credits will allow you to download. Which means deduct your credits if you download stuff from here. Unless if your credits becomes 0, you can't download anything. You have to start posting replies to get credits.
Sayings: Things are not free in this world. So don't expect wallpapers are also free. X3

Free Download Quota:
When you wanna download something, it won't deduct your credits. Instead, it'll deduct 1 free download quota. So, if you used finish your free download quota, it'll deduct your credits. It's like give you chance to download free without deduct anything.
But, you'll always see 5 free download quota. That's the max number. Don't expect more than 5 free download quota. It'll never happen. X3

I do an art related field at University I do Architecture so I suppose that has some design related stuff in it :P But when I started walling, I was still in high school and just had a general interest in art. Hmmm... I say my best work came probably about a year after I had started lol. By then I knew how to use the program well, and I had a really clear idea of what I wanted to achieve.

Anyway to answer your question .... Minitokyo is a anime walling/scan community, with a forum and a IRC. Features have been added over the years I've been here. Best way to meet people like any forum out there is to post and be active, get yourself known. My only suggestion is to read all the support section to avoid any troubles with mods, and just post in the galleries/forum part of the site. You'll probably make some friends by interacting, blahblah.

if you mean the images in your gallery, then there is a "submit" option on the left menu bar.
You must read the Policy: http://support.minitokyo.net/policy/ and FAQ http://support.minitokyo.net/faq/ before submitting them, just to be sure of the rules

If you mean general images in your userpage at the top, you will need to upload your images onto something like http://imageshack.us, and then embed it into your Userpage Customisation html (you can get there by Clicking on "control panel" in your left menu bar), and then writing the image link into the html box

About your question, I don't watch anime so to inspires my work. Obviously, I look at someones work, whether it's wallpapers or drawings, which is amusing to look at. And so it intrigues me to make wallpapers and other stuff.

Still, I don't quite understand what are you asking. I'm inspired by other people's work, not mine.

And please, do not spam other members userpage by asking the same questions. If you want to ask people's opinion, post it in a thread in the forum.
